Teachers
Helen Kunze, studio owner & E-RYT 200
Helen has been teaching Hatha yoga for 12 years. She teaches Beginner yoga, All Levels, Gentle, Yin and Restorative.
Helen began doing yoga at the end of a long career in illustration. She had chronic pain in her shoulders, neck and upper back and found the relief she had been searching for years.
While wanting to stay fit and get her cardio in, she occasionally slipped into a yoga class. Helen noticed to euphoric feeling of everything in her body and mind working better and fabulous reduction of stress. A few years after being without a local teacher, she decided it was something she must have in her life and signed up to learn it herself and share it with others.
Helen completed a year-long 200 hour teacher training certification at the Arkansas Yoga Center, in Fayetteville.
Helen has been teaching yoga since 2007. She encourages everyone to try yoga, as it can be so beneficial on so many different levels. She has a passion for helping others feel good and stay younger.
Helen taught at the YMCA in Carthage for 3 years. During that time, she began Yoga 4U classes at her home in the evenings.
Helen has studied with some well known teachers including:
Andrea Fournet - owner & teacher Arkansas Yoga Center, RYT Yoga School
Brian Fowler - co-teacher - AYC RYT teacher training
Amy Weintraub - author of Yoga for Depression
Rolf Gates - author of Meditations from the Mat

Desiree Rumbaugh - Anusara yoga teacher
Stephanie Keach - prenatal yoga, author of The YOGA Handbook & owner Ashville Yoga Center
Jamie Elmer - of Movement Therapy
Max Strom - author, A Life Worth Breathing & There is No App For Happiness

Rebecca Browning, CYT 200
About Rebecca, in her own words:
My name is Rebecca and I've been doing yoga in some form or fashion since I was 12 years old. I first fell in love with a book with beautiful black and white photos of a woman in a white leotard and detailed descriptions of each pose and sequence. I also have a background in dance through high school and when I went to college, I wanted to continue doing something physical and was on the hunt for a new fun activity. I started going to a Hot Yoga studio for several years and loved how the heat was able to open up my joints and get me deeper into my yoga practice. This was the first time I really connected with the yoga, controlling my body's reaction to the heat and I actually hit the splits for the first time!
Coming back to the Joplin/Carthage area, there were no dedicated hit yoga studio, so I became very involved in a local yoga studio, even getting my yoga teacher's certification for Ashtanga 200RYT. I now enjoying teaching around the, meeting and working with different groups of people and am so happy to have found Helen and Yoga 4U in Carthage, where I teach Warm Flow.
When I'm asked about why I love yoga or how it has helped me, I keep coming back to how collaborative a yoga practice can be. We support one another, rejoice in each other's achievements and create some amazing communities around this time honored practice.
I'd love to welcome you to drop in to my class and let me know what you're looking for in yoga. I've taught lots of beginner classes and am comfortable explaining our poses and flow to someone just trying yoga
for the first time to those looking to deepen years of practice.

Stacy Stiles, CYT 200
My name is Stacey Stiles. I am a 200 hour certified yoga instructor. I have been practicing yoga since the Summer of 2013. I found yoga by looking for a low impact way to exercise and a time for this stay at home mom of 3 year old twins to get away and have time for herself. I immediately fell in love with it. I was quickly seeing signs of better sleep and my lower back pain wasnt as bad. I then knew it was something that I had to stick with.
The benefits began to grow and it eventually became a way of life for me. It was what got me up and out of bed in the moring and the energy to take on the day. I soon learned that I was a naural at instructing classes and wanted to take it further. I began my journey as a yoga instructor in the Fall of 2016 and recieved my certification in April 2017. It was one of the best things I have ever done for myself! I have loved being able to bring yoga into peoples lives and seeing the way yoga has helped them.
This is definitely a practice and something I strive to get better at each day. This practice challenges me daily and I am constantly learning new things. I believe showing up on your mat is one of the best things you can do for yourself!
Katrina Ellebracht, CYT 200
“Katrina completed het 200 hour training in April 2017 through Treehouse Yoga in Joplin, Missouri.
She has been practicing yoga for many years and is always looking to deepen her practice and share it with others. She was drawn to yoga for the positive affects it has on the mind and body.
She specializes in all levels vinyasa flow class but has participated in, and taught, other styles of yoga as well. She strongly believes in the value of each person taking the practice to their level and what their body is capable of that day. Practice is not perfect and all types of bodies and people can get benefit from yoga.
She wants students to leave her classes feeling challenged and strong. Her other interests include Zumba, hiking/walking and travel.”
Miranda Olds, RYT 200
Miranda has spent the last six years actively creating a clean lifestyle for her family. She believes in a well rounded, intuitive approach to wellness. Based on the idea that
mental, physical and emotional health are all equally important and closely intertwined. She has found yoga to be a way to work out physically, mentally and emotionally while respecting her boundaries and creating a sacred space for intention. Her personal yoga practice has been both a supplement to and a catalyst for a holistic lifestyle approach. Perhaps more notably, yoga has become a communal experience for her, helping to create space for new relationships and renewed vigour for the ongoing ones in her life. She is always looking for new and fun ways to incorporate yoga in8to daily life and daily life into yoga. She studied under Emery Bryant, registered school of yoga. She quietly encourages everyone in her life to stretch more, breath deeper and meet her on the mat.
